We strive to create emotive living through design by reviewing the Interior Design specifications requested by the client at the start of the design process before presenting design options for manufacturing and layouts for approval. Our spatial experiences reflect who our clients are and what they value most. This will be accompanied by schemes and decorative finishing treatments for the space, followed by Finishing Schedules and Costing Schedules, where we constantly strive to find the perfect balance between quality, cost & time. We engage in the project from start to finish, being intrinsically involved and passionate in developing the best-completed end result. With a luxury design aesthetic and meticulous attention to detail, LizaRay Designs creates inspiring and pleasing interior spaces with every design project undertaken.
Liza Wyborn
Director
With 16 years’ experience in the hotel design industry, Liza has worked on various projects across South Africa, Africa and Internationally. Both local and international were diverse in scale, from high rise hotels to residential properties. Liza founded LRD (2019) and her key focus is on delivery – interpreting the client brief, producing the design, and fulfilling the brief, with the necessary documentation and design principles, whilst keeping a close eye on the program and cost.
Vicky Koopman
Executive Assistant
With a diploma in Cost and Management Accounting, problem-solving keeps Vicky driven and excited and she finds great satisfaction when numbers balance at the end of the day. Vicky approaches all aspects of any job with a positive, hard-working mindset, and is passionate about helping find solutions to any challenges. Vicky is a highly approachable individual who has a pleasant attitude and a willingness to serve.
Our Design Process
We follow three main steps when starting a new project, we like to ensure we dot all the i’s and cross all the t’s and make sure we get it all right!
Research
We research and brainstorm all projects before we start, to ensure we cover all bases and stay informed of everything we may need.
Design
Probably the most important step in our process, we put our heads down and create the best designs suitable for the project at hand.
Build
The last step in the process, making our ideas come to life! It is always so exciting when we get to put our ideas into motion.
Remote Workstations
We work remotely, but we are always able to meet you whilst churning out creative ideas and plans to best assist you with your dream interior space.
